The most desirable Apple products coming to the market this year
We’ll soon be half-way into the year, and the Worldwide Developers Conference is coming relatively soon, to be subsequently followed by the regular Apple September event. 2022 is looking very promising with an entire range of upgrades of popular products to be revealed. These include iPhones, Macs and a few accessories.
- Mac Pro
Probably the most coveted Apple product of this year, it will complete Apple’s transition to Apple silicon. Intel chips will be in the past after this release, and Apple silicon chip has already proven its power in an impressive performance with MacStudio. The chip is likely to sport a 128-core GPU (twice the power of the M1 Ultra) and a 40-core CPU.
- AirPods Pro
The long-awaited upgrade is here! There may be a new design coming our way, with a shorter stem, and a more rounded shape that will downsize the accessory. AirPods Pro may now support the Apple Lossless format and offer a better FindMy integration tool that will allow them to emit a sound when lost.
- iPhone 14 Pro Max
iPhone 13 is a great phone, but here comes an upgrade! The Pro Max model will have the maximum number of perks. For example, it will have a dual display cutout (pill-shaped and circular) instead of a notch, come in a new palette, with an even better camera and a faster chip (that’s just for the Pro Max).
- MacBook Air
MacBook Air is expected to have the largest-scale refresh in over a decade, since 2010. The new MacBook is likely to show off new colors, a white keyboard and off-white bezels, similar to the 24” iMac. The tapered look is out too, as the device will now resemble MacBook Pro in silhouette. The novel M2 chip is likely to feature a 9- or 10-core GPU and an 8-core CPU.
- AppleWatch Series 8
A new rugged model is on its way! There’ll surely be a regular new upgrade, but a more durable version is likely to arrive sometime very soon. A body temperature sensor and car crash detector should make athletes and lovers of the extreme should be very happy.
