Samsung Officially Launched the Galaxy J6 and J4
The Galaxy J6 is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7870 chipset with Cortex-A53 octa-core CPU 1.64GHz, Mali-T839 MP1 GPU, and 3GB RAM. Internal storage of 32GB is extendable by 15GB of free Samsung Cloud Storage, or via a microSD card.
The smartphone is equipped with a rear 13MP f/1.9 lens camera without OIS. The front camera is 8MP with f/1.9 lens. The LED flash provides three levels of lightning — which might grow indispensable for the selfie fans.
The Galaxy J6 has the Android 8.0 Oreo based Samsung Experience interface, a fingerprint sensor on the back, and a 3000 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J4 display features Super AMOLED technology with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio, 5.5 inches. It has the Samsung proprietary Exynos 7570 quad-core CPU performing at 1.4 GHz, Mali-T720 MP1 GPU, and 2GB RAM. The users of the new J4 will have a 16GB storage, with additional free 15GB of Samsung Cloud, and a possibility to use a microSD.
The front-facing camera is only 5MP, but three levels of LED flash are still there. The main camera has the same characteristics as the one on the more expensive Galaxy J6. The battery is as powerful as on the sister model — 3000 mAh, and the operational system is Android 8.0 Oreo.
In India, for the top version of Samsung Galaxy J6 with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, the price is settled at 16,400 ($240), while the less expensive one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will cost just INR 13,990 ($205). The information on the Galaxy J4’s price is currently unavailable.
