Rumors on 2022 iPhone SE Features; Likely Powered by A15 Bionic, Include 5G Support
On the heels of two Apple fall launch events, when the company revealed the iPhone 13 range with improved cameras, the latest A15 bionic chip and the exciting ProMotion display (Pro models only), there already are rumors on the iPhone SE, anticipated in spring of 2022. The device is likely to boast Apple’s. most recently developed A15 Bionic chip and include 5G support. As far as dimensions and design, no great changes are expected there, and the Touch ID button may very well remain in place. The last iPhone SE came out in 2020.
Tech bloggers claim that the newest iPhone SE, expected to launch in spring 2022, will probably be powered by Apple’s new-fangled A15 Bionic chip. The third-generation iPhone SE is likely to continue to sport the 4.7-inch Retina HD display from the last model, and support Touch ID on the home button. In addition to the A15 Bionic chip, the upcoming phone will probably integrate the Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G chip, similarly to the iPhone 13 series. Production is expected to begin sometime in December 2021, and the new SE will probably launch next spring.
No other details on the features of the upcoming iPhone SE (2022) are available at this time. Past rumors suggest that there may be a hole-punch display and thin bezels. There may be a flat frame design that’s similar to the iPhone 12 series. The back of the iPhone SE (2022) is expected to have a single camera sensor and an LED flash, like the previous SE models.
Another iPhone SE variant that may be revealed in 2023 is also rumored to be in the works at Apple. It will probably have a large 6.1-inch screen with a hole-punch display instead of the notch on the present iPhones.
