Report: 2018 iPhones may come with better, 18W chargers
Published : Tuesday, 01 May, 2018

When the 2017 iPhones were released, there was a 29W USB C adapter for faster charging, but that had a price tag of approximately $49, while the USB C to Lightning cost another $29. So it does make sense for Apple to try and improve this situation. In fact this change is definitely long overdue for the company. And based on what we can observe, the charger is impressive and it does bring some really nice, new features that just about everyone would want to check out and enjoy. We expect the new charger to come up with some cool extras too, but even if it doesn’t, the high capacity still brings in front some very interesting results and benefits for that. This change, and this is a very interesting change for them, since peripherals are often an issue with Apple products - from smartphones to notebook computers.
