Mixed reality headsets introduced by Apple may save lives by showing gas leaks and other invisible things
The mixed reality (MR) headset patented by Apple is not just for fun and games (although that’s great, too)! It may allow its users to see invisible things, such as gas leaks and Wi-Fi signals. This feature could also show the sound waves and track heat patterns, allowing musicians to tune their instruments in a new way and detect possible fires by showing infrared waves. The AR (augmented reality) layer may also allow users to see inside enclosed spaces, such as cupboards and closets by matching stored video from the previous use when the cupboard was opened.
Apple’s MR headset may be launched in 2023. In fact, there are three headsets under development - N301, N602, and N421. The first MR headset expected to be released by the company will purportedly be called Apple Reality Pro and will be a competitor to the soon-to-be-released Facebook's AR-VR headset.
