Highlights of the new Xiaomi Mi Watch OTA
We all know that the Xiaomi Mi Watch is definitely not the first of its kind or that of some other Chinese companies, however this watch has taken the smartwatch game to a whole new level. This is why there has been a lot of effort going into software support for this particular wearable. You should also know that despite the fact that IOS support was a huge anticipation last month, there is in fact the tease of an update on Weibo.
It’s safe to say that since our Chinese is not as stellar as we’d want it to be, therefore there’s a possibility that we might have missed some details. However the highlight of the OTA include monitoring your stress levels with the ‘body energy monitoring’ feature. The metric that comes first is very much easy to comprehend and we just assume that Xiaomi intended a measurement of Spo2 with the latter metric.
The scheduled update will include exercises that will train your breathing patterns. There will also be a suitable change on how the Mi watch receives and handles notifications. If a notification is received, the light on the watch will come up and it will show you a preview of the notification in an interface that’s colorful and this is pretty cool.
Talking about Weibo, the 2nd Xiaomi Mi Watch OTA will start seeding on the 17th of January and end on the 22nd of January. The assumption is that these dates refer to when some of the units will receive the update and the fact that others will receive it much later but there are speculations that the IOS application may just be pushed back.
