Apple may cease production of iPhone 12 Mini, report claims
Maybe it's just the time to say goodbye to the compact version of the iPhone 12.
In under a year on the market, the iPhone 12 Mini - essentially a tiny clone of the iPhone 12 - may be on its last breath. On Monday MacRumors reported that Apple has stopped production of the 5.4-inch smartphone after its sales weren't nearly as successful as those of iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Max.
Apple did not respond to a request for comment as of now. As of now, the iPhone 12 Mini is still on sale on apple.com at the price of $699.
Launched in November, the iPhone 12 Mini is nothing like the size of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the company's largest iPhone to date. Mini is available in classic black and white colors, and blue, red, green and even purple have been on sale since April.
Apple is anticipated to reveal its next model lineup, the iPhone 13 this fall - and we have no reason to believe the iPhone 13 Mini is no longer a part of that lineup.
